ROAD SAFETY: DAY OF ACTION

Today, Ashford CSU carried out a dedicated day of action focusing on road safety issues across the district. This activity directly responds to concerns raised by our local residents, who have identified road safety as a key priority within their communities.

Throughout the day, officers conducted targeted enforcement and engagement, resulting in a number of traffic tickets being issued. Offences dealt with included speeding, failure to wear seatbelts, and the use of mobile phones whilst driving.

These proactive operations are designed not only to address offences but to improve overall safety on our roads and reduce the risk of serious harm. We will continue to act on community feedback and target the issues that matter most to the public we serve.
